Located on the picturesque Normanton Park Estate the combination of excellent facilities and stunning scenery makes our Leicester venue the perfect place to get to grips with the art of clay pigeon shooting. There are a variety of shooting disciplines to explore, including English Sporting, Compact Sporting and Down the Line meaning there’s something to test shooters of all abilities. What’s more, there are fully qualified shooting instructors on hand to teach you all the essentials, so no matter if you’re young or old, novice or expert, you will be dusting those clays in no time!
On site we have a clubhouse serving breakfast rolls, plus hot and cold drinks. We can also offer ample parking and toilet facilities.
The site is closed every other Saturday.

50 Clay Shoot
This fantastic package gives you and a group of friends, family or colleagues the chance to learn the basics of clay pigeon shooting by taking on a 50 clay shoot. After an initial briefing and demonstration you'll take it in turns to take on the targets and work your way round the traps.
With experienced instructors on hand to help fine tune your technique you'll be nailing the clays in no time, but do you have what it takes to claim the title of top gunner?

We had a great experience. Was easy to book and the instructors at Normanton Shooting Ground were excellent very patient and professional.
Amazing! I brought this experience for my partner as a birthday present. He loved it. The instructor Markie was amazing. He didn’t rush and made my partner feel really relaxed. Said multiple times for him to take his time and said he has all day for him. He explained everything was really safe and said he would rather him take his time and hit more. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommended anyone to come
Mick was absolutely brilliant. He was great at making us feel comfortable and able with the gun. We had a brilliant time and will definitely be rebooking for some more fun!

Mick was an amazing instructor who managed to keep it both fun and informative. He obviously has a wealth of experience both with shooting and coaching and I learnt a lot and went away with a having had enjoyable time too. I had only held a shotgun twice before and thanks to Mick I came runner up in the novice class of my very first clay shooting competition!
First time going shooting booked it for me and the wife for a date night kind of thing.

Our shooting ground is located just outside Leicester in Thurlaston, less than 15 minutes from both the M1 and M69. Full maps and directions are provided on completion of booking.
