On arrival at our location, you’ll be supplied with all the equipment that you need to take part as well as a complete safety briefing. Our qualified instructors will be on hand throughout – ensuring that even if you’re a complete beginner, you will quickly get to grips with your chosen activity. When you experience one of our epic adventure activities in Pontneddfechan, we will ensure that your day is one that you’ll remember for many years to come.
Once the camp has been set for the evening many adult only & stag groups prefer their own privacy and the Instructor will camp nearby. You will be left sufficient supplies i.e. firewood, food & breakfast, the Instructor will return to the site the following morning. For groups with any under 18’s an Instructor will always be on site overnight.

Wild Camping
Our Survival skills & Wild Camping experience takes place on remote privately-owned land within the Brecon Beacons National park. You will be taught essential survival skills that will enable you to create a functioning expedition camp. Using a variety of techniques, you will learn how to make your own comfortable natural shelter, how to light and manage a fire, how to arrange a fire for cooking and many other wilderness skills.
Save all the hassle of loading your car with bulky & heavy tents & camping equipment we can provide all the essentials including a choice of different sized tents to suit your group, simply bring a sleeping bag! There is parking nearby with a short 10-15 minute hike into the site......*Choice of different size tents to suit your group– we can even pre- erect tents before and dismantle after your visit- saving you the time and trouble (small surcharge applies)

Half Day
Our Survival skills & Wild Camping experience takes place on remote privately-owned land within the Brecon Beacons National park. You will be taught essential survival skills that will enable you to create a functioning expedition camp. Using a variety of techniques, you will learn how to make your own comfortable natural shelter, how to light and manage a fire, how to arrange a fire for cooking and many other wilderness skills.
For our standard experience we drive as close as possible to the site and then there is a 15 minute walk carrying equipment onto the site. If you are looking for a more challenging experience you have the option of an indoor briefing nearby and a navigational hike to the camp....... Survival skills typically include:
*Emergency Shelter Building
*Friction Fire and other methods
*Finding and sustaining water
*Navigation
*Trapping
*Foraging- search for edible foods
